Brian Stucky, Senior Advisor, Mortgage Bankers Association MISMO, Decision-X
 
As a long-time practitioner of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Management solutions, Brian has specialized in intelligent applications for financial services and mortgage lending for nearly 25 years. 

Most recently, Brian led the Responsible AI and Model Governance practice for Rocket
Mortgage and the Rocket Companies. His team designed and developed the Rocket Ethical Framework (“REF”) – an automated business process to ensure consistent and complete review of AI before going to production including analysis for data privacy, permissible use, and fairness.

In addition, Brian is a Senior Advisor to the Mortgage Bankers Association MISMO organization where he is a co-chair of both the Artificial Intelligence and Decision Modeling Workgroups.

Brian also co-founded two companies that specialized in the design and implementation of intelligent systems. He has implemented and managed business rule development efforts in a variety of domains including the secondary mortgage market, credit card marketing and processing, mutual fund portfolio analysis, insurance underwriting and risk management, and for various Federal civilian agencies.

Bitun Banerjee, VP Product Manager - Fusion (CDAO), JPMorgan Chase
 
Bitun Banerjee is a Vice President and Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase, where he leads the development of cutting-edge AI/ML products within the firm's Central Data & Analytics and Machine Learning Center of Excellence. With over a decade of cross-industry experience spanning finance, energy, and aerospace, Bitun specializes in building scalable AI platforms and data-driven solutions that transform decision-making for institutional clients.
 
His work focuses on the intersection of generative AI, data governance, and real-time analytics, with applications ranging from trade signal generation and NL-to-SQL interfaces to credit opportunity detection in sales and trading environments. He currently leads product strategy for JPMorgan’s Quantitative Client Intelligence (QCI) suite and is shaping the firm’s platform capabilities for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG 2.0) across payments, capital markets, and asset management lines of business.

Bitun holds an engineering background and is deeply passionate about safe and reliable AI adoption in regulated industries. He has also contributed to early-stage technology ventures, built human-machine control systems in the energy sector, and is a National Interest Waiver (NIW) green card applicant under the EB-2 category, underscoring the national impact of his work in AI safety and financial infrastructure.

Scott Weber, Associate General Counsel, Director - Responsible AI at Upstart

Scott is the Associate General Counsel and Director of Responsible AI at Upstart, where he specializes in consumer finance regulation as applied to AI/ML. He helps Upstart navigate complex regulations while collaborating with government and consumer advocacy groups to build AI solutions that prioritize fairness and equal access.

More recently, he deployed numerous large language models to modernize risk management processes. Prior to joining Upstart, Scott led fair lending and model governance initiatives at Wells Fargo and Berkshire Hathaway.
